VX One Class at Cowes Week
Roger Phillips sailed a VX One for the first time today and absolutely sent it with his crew Tom Compton, and Nathan Batchelor from Ovington Boats. Love this class, I was very jealous of the action in the sports boat class today!
J70 Class – RAF Benevolent Fund Spitfire
The last time I caught up with Simon Ling was at the J70 Worlds in La Rochelle a month ago.
UKSA is the official charity of Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week… and wow, amazing to chat with UKSA Ambassador Sarah Ayton, a multiple Olympic medallist, OBE and mum about this brilliant organisation while on the ground here in Cowes!

A chat with UKSA head of branding Will Myles on what the UKSA is and just what sailing can do to help people… unbelievable!

There is something about sailing that draws people from all walks of life, perhaps it is the speed, the exotic locations, or just the challenge of it all. For me it is the challenge of man and machine against Mother Nature with all her might and ferocity. And atop all sailing endeavors is the infamous 24 hour record, a testament to the ability, skill, athleticism, and engineering that allows us to…

What a week, and wow there is some action to come as well.
To bring you up to my head spinning state…
Last weekend I was in Western Australia for the WA Tasar State Championships at the venue for the Tasar 2015 World Champs. We had an awesome weekend in the “south-west” including a trip to Wise Winery, which is just a must do! A big thanks to Kayne and Louise Binks for lending us…

Another week, and another jam packed show with Adventures of a Sailor Girl herself, Nic Douglass.
Nic covered the main story in sailing this week, that Team Australia has withdrawn from the America’s Cup. The reason why is a mystery that will no doubt develop more over the coming weeks, and Nic will keep you posted.
We heard a replay with Stacey Jackson, of Team SCA, as the Canary Islands…

So many adventures, and the weekend is just not enough time to squeeze them all in!
Great to catch up with Australia’s newest World Champs, Jesse Dobie and Adrian Fawcett, who took out the F16 Worlds in Newport last week.
We managed to wake Jason Waterhouse up on the morning of his next regatta. He will be on the water with Lisa Darmanin on the Nacra this week, after wrapping up his first A…

The host adds her own adventures to the mix, as well as opening the show with a 60-second wrap of…

Amazing to catch up with Brett (BA) Avery of Scarlett Runner on their round the world adventure with racing in between! The ultimate wish list! Also great to touch base with Tom ‘on fire’ Burton on his Laser campaign, and Nina Curtis on her Nacra campaign with Darren Bundock as they continue on the Road to Rio with the Australian Sailing Team. Also a few snippets from the life of a…
