I caught up with Matt Allen, owner of Ichi Ban who is now sitting in second in IRC Rating Division 1 after the team were second across the line to make it 2, 2.
Next up is Silas Nolan (2:40), who I last caught up with in an airport lounge on the way home from Saint-Barth, the bowman for Proteus Mini Maxi and RAN TP52 has come home to race with local South Australian team Concubine who he has been involved with for a number of years. The less than year-old Mills 40 that he has been involved with since inception is sailing incredibly well to be in third position. There are a number of “ring-ins” on board including Cocko and Nitro among others, and Silas himself has graduated from the bow to navigation!
